If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello!
I’m looking to buy tomorrow (New Year’s Eve) near Chicago. Found a dealer willing to go “down” to $2k over MSRP, but feel I can do better. Any advice?

Try Berwyn Kia or Rock River Kia. When I was searching in October, they were the only dealers selling MSRP. I've heard Gerald has started selling at MSRP recently. I ended up buying mine from Mike Miller Kia in Peoria as they had a dealer allotment with trim/color I was looking for at MSRP.

Excellent!!! Thanks so much!!

In reading through hundreds of posts, It is my observation that the less flexible you are in terms of wait time, options, dealers, shipping, location etc. the more you are likely to pay for your Telluride. So unless you are the lucky one who just happens to have exactly what you want sitting on their lot unclaimed at MSRP then your chances are very small. So if you have to buy one today, New Year's Eve then good luck!

New Year’s Eve is typically when the dealers are more willing to reduce price so they don’t pay Inventory Tax on them as of Dec 31 (in many states). So, you’re right. If they don’t have what I want on the lot, I’m screwed. However, Gerald KIA in Naperville is selling at MSRP all the time and offer a Lifetime Warranty. Going to order exactly what I want this afternoon and wait 45-60 days to take ownership. Woot woot!!!!

What dealer was 2k over?

What dealer was 2k over?
McGrath KIA in Palatine. But Gerald KIA in Naperville sold to me at MSRP! Originally called and spoke with someone named Anthony, but went in to the dealership and worked with Greg Brown to get it done. They had a black/black S AWD on the lot they would have sold me at MSRP, but I ordered the colors I wanted and should get it in 45-60 days! Woot woot!!

What dealer was 2k over?
McGrath KIA in Palatine. Was working with Cliff. However, Gerald KIA in Naperville did the deal for me at MSRP. Called and originally spoke to Anthony, but dealt with Greg Brown once at the dealership.
