• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I do not know how this works in other brands. Is it KIA that one cannot get their music app up on the screen? Just the fwd, bk and pause buttons. Is there an app that will get up there? Would love to see my Amazon prime extra screen on the phone up on the car screen.

What you are asking for can probably be achieved if you use Apple Carplay or Android auto.

As thanks!! But after a few weeks with Kia voice NAV I stopped using AA. The only flaw in it is too much info on the big NAV screen, too many routes confusing. But if I just use the HUD it's fine. Boy I love the HUD. Anyone know that with 2223 and up with the digital gauges if HUD is still available?

This is the HUD on the 2023 Prestige.
The ends of the horizontal line above the digital speed light up red when a vehicle is in the blind spot. The speed limit is generally accurate as to the current speed limit and the text turns red when you exceed the posted speed limit. The speed limit sign will change from time to time to a school zone sign etc. Above, when a destination in navigation is selected, abbreviated instructions display in several formats including what lane you need to be in and so on. The display generally shows up very well but will fade or disappear with polarized sun glasses. It is my understanding the 2023 display is larger than earlier models.

And yes, when I saw your question, I grabbed my keys, ran to the garage in my PJs, set a local nav destination and drove around the block to find just the right shady spot so I could take this awesome picture. :)

Thanx!! Polarized! I boat and fish a lot so all my sunglasses are polarized. :( Had to go shopping. :) I mean gosh, nothing up there at all. The HUD is so very important to me. With the wheel buttons I seldom if ever need to take my eyes off the road. Should be standard on ALL vehicles for safety. Ralph! Get on that! :)
