Has anyone had problems cleaning the metal trim around the windows.

I usually just wipe mine down with a microfiber cloth every few days and they stay nice and clean.

Oh okay for some reason the trim around my windows is starting to tarnish and I haven't found anything to clean it with. I called the dealership and was told that quite a few people were having the same problem. They are waiting on an answer from KIA. There may be a recall to have it replaced, I'm just waiting.

Yes, my dealer ordered new trim and going to install next week. No cost to me.

I just noticed mine doing this, today. Ugh! I'm glad they will replace it. Its time to call the dealer (and hope mine will replace it, too)

I am having the exact same problem with my 2021 Sorento. I have an appt. next week. I am glad that I saw this. I do not run my vehicle through the car wash so, that cannot be the issue. It has to be a flaw in the trim.

Don't worry about the black tarnishing... It will peel off by itself in a few years.

Many are getting it replaced under warranty. From my understanding thru those who had it replaced, they have to replace the entire rear side glass though. I paid for tint and not paying to have retinted. Ill just have it wrapped which should be cheaper than tinting again and last longer since the replacements will probably need replacing in time as well.
