• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The Telluride models LX, S, EX all get 8 colors of "Mood Lighting" and the SX gets 64 different colors. If you have a Telluride, show off your best "Mood Lamp" pics!
Hi, Im new here. So the SX with prestige package has the 64 colors of mood lighting included? I don't need to purchase anything else, correct?

Hi, Im new here. Haven't purchased yet, as I want the SX w/prestige and I can't find locally. Was told to order and accessorize online. Just want to confirm that the mood lighting (dash and door) will come standard with the sx/prestige.
The $450 interior light kit multi colored is for footwell and cupholders only, yes?

Correct

Just got my telluride S and the window sticker indicated it had the 450 lighting kit. However I can't figure out where to access the lights or see them on. Any ideas

In the coin holder in front of the cup holders, on the left inside is a switch. See the interior-lighting-kit thread for a printout of the OPERATING instructions.

Pardon the interruption--can the SXP interior light kit be installed or retrofit if it does not come with the vehicle from the plant?

Yes, if you want it. Just be sure you really want that kit. You can get more lighting (and more customization) done aftermarket for a lot less at a good auto lighting shop. Personally, I'd go that route and intend to this year.

Thank you and great point.

Yeah, you can order the kit for just over $300 OEM (but then there'd be a labor charge) - and it's just a couple of LED light trips for the FRONT footwells (not even rear), a push button controller and a couple of LEDs for cupholders. For the time being I ordered a 4 strip LED to put under footwells front and rear that plugs in via USB - for less than $10 on Amazon (I found a post on the forum from someone else who did this - they bought on ebay for around $9). I intend to see how I like having additional lighting first.
