• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... More Accolades

And yet another:

If you live under a rock with no wifi its the only way you don't know about the Telluride. I went out with my girlfriend last weekend. We were talking to a couple and they start talking cars. Then I hear "We just bought a new KIA Telluride SX with the Premiere Package!" "It's loaded!" "Have you ever seen one!?" I sure have. Did you pay over sticker for the Telluride? "Well I'm not really sure but we got the Ziebart pkg and the two front windows tinted for only $2k!" Sounds like you got a great deal! 😉 🤦‍♂️

“The Kia Telluride is one of the most holistically impressive vehicles we’ve ever reviewed”

In some respects, it is ridiculous - however, personally, I think it all means my research was spot on that started back last February when I first ran into the T-Ride at the auto show, before all of the reviews and awards.

Went to the auto show this year, again. Having gotten the T-Ride, it was not as a shopper as I was at the previous 4 auto shows. Went around this time looking at the previously considered vehicles, some which had updated versions. Came away considering my time there as my 'confirmation tour' - confirming for myself I definitely made the correct choice for me. All the accolades are additional confirmation.

Certainly better than if you bought one and all the 'pros' said it was the worst available... just sayin'...

They keep coming...

Not so much an accolade - but in another positive review was a tid-bit regarding the first step in the painting process, thought interesting enough to share:
*****
Before the stripped-down, bare-naked bodyshell of every new Kia Telluride is given a final, gleaming coat of color, there’s one key preparation process it has to go through.

It’s dusted with emu feathers.

Not any old feathers. But the slightly shaggy, gray-brown plumage of Australia’s non-flying, somewhat oddball native bird.

“Emu feathers are electro-statically charged so can pick up the minutest specks of dust. And because the feathers have a large surface area, they provide a lot of coverage. There’s nothing man-made that can match them.”

“In this day and age, it seems crazy that we’d use bird feathers in such a hi-tech environment,” he explains. “But they help give us the quality paint finish we demand. If they didn’t work, we wouldn’t use them.”
[Above two quotes by T.J. White, paint production manager at Kia’s West Point, Georgia assembly plant]

And the best part? No emus are sacrificed in the pursuit of paint perfection. These are feathers that fell out during molting.
