• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I stopped in at a local Kia dealership to check on whether they had a Telluride sun screen. While there I observed a salesman talking to two ladies about the Telluride. They had two sitting on the lot but both were sold. The younger of the ladies (the daughter) was interested in the Telluride, but wanted to take a test drive, or at least a test ride. Unfortunately the salesman said he could not take them on a ride in either of the two they had.

When the salesman went inside to check on something, I told them I'd be happy to take them for a spin in mine. Mom stayed behind while I took daughter for a ride a few miles up the road and back, explaining all the good/ band points (mostly good). Of course I also told her to join this forum.

You just made a sale for the dealership; nice 👍

Maybe maybe not. I didn't ask them how much the dealer was asking, nor did I suggest they should not deal with this dealer, but I did mention that I was willing to drive to Texas to get exactly what I wanted and not pay over MSRP.
