• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... My SX came with mud guards, they are not listed in the window sticker, they are not mentioned in the sales invoice. Are mud guards standard on the SX?

I don't believe they do much but they look very nice.

Mud guards are an accessory. Sounds like you got a nice freebie. I had to pay for mine!

Definitely an add on (+$115).

Not sure about a freebie...I paid almost $3,000 for a dealer "advantage plan" in English "mark-up:". It included the carpets which I think don't come with the car and maybe the mud guards, maintenance for one year and some scuff guards for door wells and door edges, minor stuff.

You paid less for yours when it is all totaled...;)

The dealer installed them on my SX as a "free" add-on. I agree that they are not hugely functional, but they look good with the sidesteps.

Got a picture? Would like to possibly add to mine.

Wow they're more of a novelty than actually guarding the mud. I should come down at least another 4 to 5 in to be actual mud guards
