My VIN Just Hit Failcat!

4 1/2 months and counting, but my car popped up today! 5XYP5DHC9MG160965 is my car! And more good news: I beat the price increase! The only thing is I ordered wheel locks and they weren’t included, but that about as minor of an issue as possible. Getting excited! Time to clean out my Accord!

Congrats! That's a good question - how/why do some of the VINs show with the price increases and some without? I thought it was all VINs created after the first of the year?

I have wheel locks that I will remove once I rotate my tires. Don’t want them

How did you know it was yours? Was your name on failcat?

I’ve been checking it everyday. The vehicle that popped up today matched my configuration exactly minus the wheel locks, and no other vehicles matched, so I called the dealer to verify and he confirmed it’s my vehicle.

Thanks. Yup, I’m member 108 of this forum. Hard to believe there’s 16,000+ members now and growing.

I’ve been obsessed with both the Palisade and Telluride since they were announced, as they both blew anything else in the segment out of the water, with aggressive pricing, and they came out of nowhere. Had the Telluride never come out, I would have been perfectly happy with a Palisade.

The Telluride just has more style, especially on the exterior. Plus, this forum puts the Palisade forum to shame.

Can't figure the formula...thought maybe it was state, but I gave up tracking after the first so many. Definitely starting to move that way...
