• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Does anyone know how much space the actual downloaded files occupy on the thumb drive?

The update app will tell you just before you choose to write to USB

Do anyone know if there is anyway it could work using an USB external HDD. I dont have a 64 gb USB stick.
My HDD is on exFat format and it's not working. I'm still on the original system of the 2020 model ( I didnt want to lose the 3 squares).

I'm thinking I will have to buy an USB stick just for that...

I just went ahead and ordered the memory stick from Kia when I upgraded in November. It was a smooth upgrade--no problemo! I suppose I can just use the stick for my next upgrade. Thanks.

I used a 128G micro sd card and a usb card reader. They worked well just like a usb drive.

Yep, worked with the USB stick. HDD is a no go it seems
