• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Is there a way to set the Nav to a Day, Night, or Auto displsy mode? When driving during the day, the Nav in the default 3 split screen view is too white/bright compared to the other 2 screens.

Setup > display > illumination

You should find some settings in there you can mess around with to your liking.

If you only want to change the map color for the widget on your home screen or map screen, there should be three color options as well. White, tan, mocha (or something like that). White is the brightest color scheme and mocha is the darkest. When you have your map open, tap menu on the top left to get to the map settings.

I had found the White, Tan, Mocha before from the Nav settings. But I found what I was looking for in the vehicle display settings instead of navigation settings. I set it to Night Mode only and raised the Night brightness. Now all 3 split screens are black but also still visible during the day.
