• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... This is when your phone is plugged into the USB data port right? Did you check the phone projection screen? (swipe to the screen with all the app icons on the head unit and tap on CarPlay, or press the favorite button if you have it set to phone projection)

Typically most nav apps on iPhone will display the step by step directions on the phone, while mapped route guidance is on the head unit screen. That is just how CarPlay has always worked.
