• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I had a 2017 Explorer. I waited until that year to make sure it had Android Auto. I learned quickly that the Ford Nav VOICE was completely worthless. I think it was five voice commands just to get to the search, and that would fail 90% of the time. So going into AA to use google was necessary for voice nav. It worked, short and sweet and 95% accurate. I also learned that the phone and music system with Ford was just as good as AA. So I only needed it for nav. After just a few days with my 22sx I realized Kia Nav was just as good as Google. And like Ford phone and music just as good as AA. So I no longer even see the point of AA and CARPLAY.
