• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Long time Telluride owner, first time post. I have a 2021, model S, with $109,000 miles. I noticed a small puddle of a greenish blue fluid on the ground. Got underneath and noticed green fluid leaking off a hose that runs to the rear of the car (see first pic). I imagine the other hose is a return hose. The leak is coming from above and noticed just behind the top of the engine a leak as well (see 2nd pic). Anyways, any idea what this hose if for? I'm thinking HVAC lines, but can't find anything online. I don't think it's coolant since mine is pink and that wouldn't run to the rear. Appreciate any thoughts or ideas what the leaking lines are.
thank you!

Welcome. I'm moving this topic out of the non-Telluride talk forum and into the Telluride talk forum.

AC orange antifreeze shouldn't be confused with the AC system refrigerant that is almost certainly dyed green and could be your culprit.

Those are coolant hoses. The pic with the two smaller ones, look as if they are feed/return from some sort of cooler?
Def NOT refrigerant, Those would be high pressure and solid, and/or very stiff (thick) hoses. Besides, A/C gases do not drip. They evaporate. It's a gas at ambient temperatures/pressures.

A parts diagram (factory type/exploded view) and some more sleuthing should win the day. Also perhaps someone that's already BTDT.

Yep you’re right. Thanks for redirecting me. While I thought my coolant was pink, it’s actually green once I opened the radiator cap.

I had this same leak this week. The genius engineers at kia thought it was a great idea to powder coat the line ends coming from the rear HVAC system. The paint detached from the metal and stuck to the rubber hose and created a leak. $53.77 for the part and $40 in coolant. Not a terrible job to do yourself if you are mildly mechanically inclined.
