Need Roof Rails Installed for 2021 Kia Telluride LX. I called 1 dealer in San Diego they said no but another said they’ll get back to me. Where can I get this done?

It realistically would be cheaper and simpler to trade up to an S than it would be to figure out how to add roof rails to the bare-roof LX.

Given we just bought this like 4 days ago we can’t just take it back lol. We got lucky just finding one in general with this shortage but now we need a solution

As this thread found, your best option is to find a roof rack or bag compatible with vehicles with bare roofs.

mine is a bare roof and I've taken it to rack and road and they will install roof rails.

ive looked at just trading up to a S or EX model but in my market at this point in time theres no way i can get away without paying that dealer mark up. When i first purchased my 2020 I original paid MSRP no markup on a 2 year lease and when the lease came up we just out right bought it. With that being said we owe less then what the vehicle is worth right now and i am looking but everywhere we are looking no dealer wants to budge on that markup so until then this is the option that i will be going with in the next couple months or so.

This person got a dealer to install the Kia rails on an LX. They did pay $1350 though and an aftermarket bare roof system might cost less than that.

Call Rack and road. They will do it. That’s where I went to check it out for my 2020. Seattle. Other stores also. If you don’t have one near you call REI. It can be done
