Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Negotiating Additonal installed equipment removal

No, I doubt you can get it removed. You can try to negotiate the price down but I don't know how successful you'll be. You said your Telluride arrived. I assume you ordered it. Did you not order the tow package?
I did not order it. It was unclaimed to the dealership and I put a deposit to hold it and it arrived with the tow package on it.
FWIW...
Leaving the tow package on will increase the value and interest of your car should you ever decide to sell it.

You'll just have to try to negotiate the price down. It doesn't make sense for the dealer to remove the factory install two package.
1) It'll cost them time and money to remove it without having the ability to recoup the cost.
2) Even if they are willing to remove it, the only thing they can easily remove is the hitch. This will also leave an opening in the bottom part of the bumper. The suspension will not be easy to remove since it'll have to be replaced with standard parts which will probably cost as much as the self-leveling suspension (parts+labor).
3) They will be able to sell it to someone else if you decide not to purchase it as is.

That would be a no. It's from the manufacturer. Nobody will remove that with self leveling suspension.

Yes, just enjoy it. You'll like it if it's ever loaded down with people and stuff on a road trip. Or, if you ever need a tow hitch bike rack! Else, you'd just have to pass on this one and fine one without.
Oh no! I got really lucky that my exact model was coming to the dealership unclaimed. I really didn’t want to wait 3-4 months.
