Did some time in Tucson; welcome aboardHi everyone! Wow, the Forum is a terrific resource, so glad I found it! Looking forward to learning much more about Tellurides and how to purchase one without the huge dealer markups so common today.
Welcome aboard! Fairly new here myself. Also in Tucson. Tough to purchase in town. Only dealership close to MSRP is Royal, but they are not even taking orders the last time I checked. I'm on a wait list just to order or have a chance on a unwanted order. Ended up reaching out to I25 Kia in Colorado. At MSRP with minimal fee. Fortunatly, was able to lock onto an existing dealer stock order that is due on the lot at the end of March. Fingers crossed that the next month goes by fast and uneventful!Hi everyone! Thank you! We moved down to Tucson about 10 years ago. At first, we wondered what in the world we had done, but after a few months we began to love it here!Did some time in Tucson; welcome aboard![]()
Thank you, it's great to be here! You had some incredibly good luck with I25! I agree with you regarding Royal Kia. I heard from them just this morning that they aren't accepting any orders until they can start placing orders for the 2022 model year. I'm thinking that we will probably end up ordering from I25, Hilltop or one of the other dealerships that figure prominently in the Forum postings, and who sell for close to MSRP!Welcome aboard! Thank you, really happy to be a member of the Forum! Since my partner and I are both working from home (and will be after COVID subsides), we decided to become a one-car family. We have a 2014 Honda Accord hybrid, and a 2006 Honda Ridgeline pickup. The Accord is pretty young, with only about 67K miles. The Ridgeline is another story; it's just about to turn over 200K miles. It's still going strong, but it's about time to get something that is more up to date.Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. What might the Telluride be replacing for you? I'm glad you found us.![]()
Thank you for the welcome! I can really see just from my short time on the Forum that you have got to shop around. Like you said, strategy is essential! I think we'll probably end up going with one of the well-known dealerships on the Forum that sell for MSRP or a little over. There don't seem to be any dealers in Arizona that sell without the huge markups. So, we are either going to have to do some traveling, or find a closed transport whenever we're lucky enough to eventually find that new Telluride!Welcome @ddcrowley !!
Yeah, definitely shop around. Compare locations, distance from where you live, and possible ideas for a road trip back home to break in your amazing new ride. Patience is a virtue. Strategy and strategic planning is fun![]()
Thank you! You're lucky to live in Flagstaff, it's a beautiful town!Welcome, and hello from Flagstaff
