New Guy - Waiting on a SXP Tow Package

Hey everybody,

New guy here.... Recently joined this forum and have been busy reading as much as I can. Great Forum for news and all kinds of information! Thanks!

Similar to a lot of people, we ordered a 2020 Telluride SXP with a Towing Package back in mid-January 2020 (and have been waiting ever since). At that time, we chose the Black Copper exterior with the Dune color interior.

We live in Fort Worth, Texas and ordered the vehicle from Moritz Kia on the west side of Fort Worth.

We were also just informed that our Telluride will now be a 2021order. That is fine by us (get the remote start key fob, etc.). Although, still no estimated delivery date.

We would prefer to get the Sangria exterior color, but that color does not seem to be available in the SXP package. I wonder why that is. Does anybody know if that is true?

Also, since it is going to be a 2021, we would also like to get the "Black Out Edition" option added to our order (looks cool). Are there any pictures available yet of the Black Out Edition on either a Black Copper or Sangria?

Thanks for the replies. We are kind of fortunate in that we are just adding the Telluride to what we already have. We currently have a 2017 Mustang GT and a 2004 Ford F-150 SuperCrew pickup (with like a million miles on it). Hopefully, the new Telly should provide a good balance between those two vehicles.

Welcome! Thanks for joining. You'll love the SX-P. It may be a while until the black out package will be available for the 2021 MY (they are trying to wrap up 2020 sold orders first.) But, yes it will look good. I believe Sangria can now be ordered on SX for 2021 - so if you want those options, you may have to reorder later in year. Just a heads up.

If they haven't sent in your allocation yet you should be able to make changes. Check with your sales rep or GM to find out if it has actually been loaded into KFOS yet. You can also ask them where you are in line for getting loaded and what their normal allocation is each month, that will give you a good idea. Mine was able to figure out to the month when I would get mine with the allocations. I bought from Moritz in North Ft. Worth (Alliance). Good luck.

I wish the Sangria would have been available for the SX, we would have gotten that instead..but still like the Dark Moss
