Hi everyone just joined up, haven’t got my Ride yet. Can someone confirm that remote start comes on EX and SX through the UVO app?
Dealers in Cleveland are clueless as to the differences in model to model.

Can’t confirm but it seems like it does. We only have a few owners here so hope they can confirm.

Yes I saw that somewhere as well, very disconcerting that salesman doesn’t know and he called his manager
who said they just randomly come in with it on the cars? How can they not know this stuff, mind boggling to me. I have seen one window sticker that actually listed it in on window sticker, that actually says remote start, that’s what scares me.

I have always known more about the vehicle I'm buying than any of the salespeople I have dealt with from any car maker. Once in a while you will find a sales person that' very dedicated to their job, but they are few and far between.
 
Welcome aboard, @Tunes4us! And thank you for signing up. Yes, as @ucinn pointed out, most car dealers are just sales people. They're often not that interested in the product they're selling. One month they're selling cars, the next month they're selling something else. Every so often you find somebody in car sales who's actually an automobile enthusiast. Those are the most knowledgable. Otherwise, it's us who know more than they do... Generally...
 
I know, I was in sales 40 yrs but our company prided itself on knowing the products. Of course most of that was pre-internet so we had reps always in teaching our sales staff. Now most customers can learn as much on the internet so retail sales people get lazy, hence the success of big box stores. Sad.
 
Hello Telluriders,

My wife advised me about the Telluride (she is a car junkie from California) after I was considering a 2020 Rav4 hybrid. I was also considering the Palisade since I drive a Santa Fe but the Telluride just blew me away especially after the test drive.

I will be using the Berkshire Hathaway Automotive Affiliate program to buy my Telluride due to where my wife works. . I am looking for a 7 passenger SX with Prestige package in white with dune brown interior. I love the black headliner with the dune brown seats. I will be using my credit union to buy the vehicle and I might trade in my current vehicle depending on the offer I get. I am hard on car sales people and don't play the car dealership games. I have, in the past, bought vehicles from dealerships in Mississippi and Florida due to bad local dealerships wanting to add BS markups to vehicles. I will relay information to hopefully help others and will keep reading the forum for tips.

Any current owners can relay any info on the black trim and how hard or easy it is to keep clean? That and the Kia dealerships are my only concerns regarding this vehicle.

Good morning to answer your question yes anything on the Ex trim level or higher with the 10.25 display will have the premium uvo which includes remote start, climate control from phone, lock and unlock from anywhere in the world and car tracker Incase car is stolen or you forgot where you parked at mall or airport
