• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello, boys and girls. 2020 Telluride, and just now, all of a sudden, the passenger seat belt alarm is going off with no passengers.

Any advice?

Do you have any heavy objects on the passenger seat? The passenger occupancy detection system only activates the seat belt warning if their is enough weight on the seat bottom. If the seat is empty, your sensor is likely malfunctioning and would need to be looked at by the dealer.

Nothing in the seat at all. I scheduled an appointment for next week.

Also check under the seat. In a previous vehicle I had an issue with seatbelt and air bag. Dealer replaced parts for $250. Happened again a month later. Turns out kids stuff kept getting kicked under seat and disrupting the sensors.

Nothing under there either, but good advice!
