• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... HI everybody

In my user manual they said you can have wireless android auto, I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra who do wireless Android auto (try it in my friend Gran Cherokee).

But it doesn't work. It work with a cable but can't activate it wireless.

The other problem is the adaptive cruise control. First of all I hate this thing so much, already got it in another vehicle but I was able to turn it off and use the real cruise control.

Also I live in Canada... This weekend I made a lot of traveling on snowy condition... After 30 minutes it stop working because there is snow on the radar.

I tried to used the real cruise control but never was able to cancel the adaptative one.

How can I turn off this Karen function and stay a the same speed no mather what?

No Telluride has wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.

If you have a 2023, as far as I can tell from reading the manual, there is no way to revert to regular cruise control. That just isn’t a thing anymore.

If you have a 2022 or older, you need to push the cruise control button, then hold the vehicle distance button for several seconds until it switches to cruise mode. Holding the same button again will switch back to smart cruise. The system will default to smart cruise when turned on.

In either case, if your radar is becoming blocked in inclement weather, it’s probably not a good idea to be using cruise control, anyway.

So I'm stuck with tha POS adaptative cruise control?

Honestly I dont like that, last week a car I was approaching (I was in the left lane and he was in the right), just touch de center lane, nothig crazy but the adaptative cruise quickly slow down my car... It was more dangerous than the situation was initially.

And for the weather, I live in Canada, we drove in shit 5 month a year and it's normal to have snow on your car even in good road condition.

Just get out of my driveway and the radar is hidden so it's not because radar is becoming blocked that the condition isn't good for cruise controling... I think it's more that they never work on this issue and because they dont give a s... At least they can give us a normal cruise control...

For Android auto I'm a bit surprising because they talk about it in my user manual...

I don’t have a 2023, so I can’t confirm myself, but again, based on everything from the manual and people inquiring about it that have 2023 Tellurides and 2023 Palisade, it’s not possible.

Maybe you can read up on manual speed limit assist, though… based on some passages in the manual describing it, it may be what you’re looking for, or at least something close. Looks like you’d hold the cruise button rather than short pressing it. I don’t have the opportunity to try it myself since I have a 2020, but you can check it out. Other people I’ve offered this info to haven’t given any response one way or the other.

You were probably reading the generic manual they put in all new Kias, which needs to have that information for the low-end cars that have wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. But again, no Telluride has that feature.

Yes I found the speed limit assist but it's the most useless thing I ever tried lolll..

It doesnt anticipated like a cruise control si it's hard to keep the same speed.

Also I have sciatic nerve trouble + lumbar sprain so it's hard for me to keep the foot a the same place for a long time, cruise control is a must have in my case.

I live in Minnesota. We also have situations where the front radar can be obstructed by snow, ice, and mud. And NO, I do not use cruise in sketchy road conditions. However, when I drive out of bad weather and roads are good, I want the option of standard cruise if radar is covered by materials. Pulling over to clean the radar obstruction is not always an option due to traffic. There is absolutely no reasonable reason why Kia does not provide this option. We also have a 2023 Subaru and that gives the option.
I consider this a big problem. Kia needs to step up and fix this at no cost to owners.
