• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello All, I just purchased a "new to me" 2021 Telluride SX. I really like it a lot. I traded a 2016 Cadillac CTS...which I also liked a lot. But, I needed something bigger. Anyway, so far so good....except for the wireless cell phone charger. I seem to be having a problem with that. The phone gets extremely hot and the battery life seems to be drawn down as opposed to be charging up. Any thoughts. Thanks from Upstate NY.

charging a phone from a DC source isn't great for a phone battery and charging pads seem to charge too fast and cause the phone to heat up...both of which i assume degrade battery life...never had the battery go down while on the charger though
