  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... New Telly not having everything ordered on it

Just wanted to add further information that the dealership placing our order in November indicated the Rear Bumper Protector and Cross Bars were not available to be ordered in the November cycle. They didn't say why, but I assumed it was supply chain issues. They did tell us in advance and gave us the option of placing an order without those extras or waiting.

Yep, I can get over the cross bars but I really wanted the Rear Bumper Protector. Oh well, I’ll look for something else.

Those do look remarkably like the OE one for sure. So much so that some of the complaints were that the covers came off like the OE ones. I would like to see a close up of how those are made.
Very close, but they did improve at least one thing:

Hmm. I would say they are identical to the OE. In this case, not good.

I was under the impression OEM cross bars had no attachment to the key cover...I don't see how I'm going to lose them tethered the way they are. I tried tugging on it and it seems pretty secure.

The problem is they don't snap in securely and it doesn't take long for the rubber tether to fail at 75mph or in a car wash. Mine have come opened partially but never all the way with many 10 hour trips over the last year and 20k miles.
