  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... New 2022 Owners despite feeling like we have owned one for a looonngggg time. I say this because we placed our order August 2021 and just took delivery this week! It was worth the wait as it is amazing so far and was the only sure fire way we found to buy at MSRP. We found that during the wait period it gave us time to reflect on the decision and our needs and wants for the vehicle never changed. Maybe the longst "cool off" period we have had, HAHA!

New to the Telluride but not new to being in to cars. Have owned nearly too many cars to list and come from a Performance/Track background doing much of my own work etc...

2022 Wolf Gray SX Prestige (worldwide) Dune/AWD/N/T

Plan so far is Color Correction, Ceramic Coating, interior detail, and front end PPF. Weathertech liners and possible front window tint.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Telluride! Finally... What did the Telluride replace for you? I'm glad you found us. :) It sounds like we have another automobile enthusiast on board! Tell me about some of your performance cars...

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Palisade! Finally... What did the Palisade replace for you? I'm glad you found us. :) It sounds like we have another automobile enthusiast on board! Tell me about some of your performance cars...
I'm sure you meant telluride! lol

That said, all performance cars were previously owned. But I was a long time freelance writer in the automotive performance segment. I covered project car builds, independent product testing, as well as being contracted to cover certain time attack racing series within the US.

I built cars and competed in NASA TT events as well as track days and track day instruction. My main performance cars were:

Nissan 200SX fully built for the track
Honda S2000
Subaru STi
Lotus Elise

Along with numerous daily drivers and tow/support vehicles....

I am sure they also own the Palisade Forum and the template got the better of them. Either way, close enough... HAHA

We DID drive the palisade as we currently still own a Santa Fe and it was no contest, telluride was the one for us...

I pick up mine tomorrow. Can't wait. Ordered January 4 (divorce present to myself). Wolf Grey/Black/SX Prestige/ Nightfall/AWD/Towing. Already have a few accessories ready to go in. Ceramic coat and tint scheduled in two weeks.

Odd, I typed it on my phone but don't remember if I actually wrote Palisade or if it got spellchecked since I had been previously texting somebody about trading their Palisade for a Telluride. Either way, it sounds like you had some pretty cool builds. Was the Nissan 200SX rear wheel drive? There's somebody near me with a highly modified Honda S2000. It doesn't exactly sound great but it's fast. The Subaru STi, well, we've all seen so many of them modified. The Lotus Elise must have been really interesting. Do you see yourself getting back into the high performance game in the future?

Congratulations! Waiting for mine to come in! I do have 2 questions. What is color correction and what exactly is the benefit of ceramic coating? I see lots of people posting the ceramic coating.

Thank you,

Jill

I’m also interested in this exact same question. Really would love to hear from those who have done ceramic coating, how long does it last, any special maintenance, can you go thru car washes. How much did you pay. Thanks so much!

It was a 2,100lb fwd car that made roughly 300hp. It was a very fun car.

Not to thelevel I once was. I got in to mountain biking and enjoy that as it gets me and the family outside doing physical exercise. Loading up the telly today for our first trip to the bike and skatepark.

Tried to reply to this on my phone and it kept telling me my message was "spam-like" Hoping this works!

I have tried to answer this question 3 times on different devices and it is getting blocked. Default message of spam or inappropriate content and it contained no links or dollar amounts or anything remotely close... I report to the admin as it seems I cannot answer a simple question on the forum. Hoping they correct the issue as I have been contributing to forums for over 20 years and I have not seen anything remotely close to this.....

I even tried to post this reply and edit and something is holding it up.

Admin... I reported a post I am trying to make that in no way violates spam or content rules. It was nothing more than a detailed answer to questions here on this thread. It is extremely odd that the post would be blocked and I have tried from a phone, a laptop, and also edited the post several times to re-order the answers. EVERY time it is blocked. I don't want to be a pain but it's frustrating to take the time to answer the post only to be met with that censor. Can you please review the reported post or send me a message to try and resolve? I would like to contribute to the site but am currently not able to do so unless I am typing generic drivel...

Thanks in advance!

I clearly missed that! I appreciate the reply!

Congrats on the WG Telluride. Patience Pays ( rule of P2) always works. It took 8 months to get ours. I got PPF on the front end - had the whole hood wrapped and new lettering installed for a clean look. Also had the vertical black trim wrapped to prevent scratching. Used Avalon King ceramic coating - easy to use and has held up well. Noticed you already have new wheels and they look nice! I didn’t care for the factory wheels as well. Good luck and have fun getting goodies for your ride!

Yes, it's crazy some of the stuff that used to get posted that I might not have found until the following day... It's an unfortunate but necessary evil...

Thanks for confirming!

I once was. I got in to mountain biking
I haven’t ridden in ages, 4 ish years ages. Health got in the way. But I want to start again.
The thing is I don’t really want to get back on the mountain bikes immediately as I KNOW I have no fun when I am this unfit. I have a hybrid bike. I also don’t want a road bike as I find just road riding very boring.
Where I live however there are loads of gravely roads/well kept bridalways that go to interesting places.
