If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Greetings,

The wife and I finally ordered a White/Dune SX with nightfall/prestige/tow packages. Looking forward to finding info and connecting with folks on here and upgrading the new car once we take delivery in a few weeks!

Congratulations and welcome to the club. Plenty of forums here about upgrading the car, but curious what you have in mind before even taking delivery?

Currently, looking at:

1) mud flap options (only aware of weather tech and Kia brand currently but can’t find good pictures of either)

2) all weather flooring options for 1st/2nd/3rd rows (have weather tech in my truck but open to other options if a better fit/seal exists

3) a cargo area mat that protects the back of the 3rd row seats (rubber/plastic, similar to weathertech style instead of carpet, that attaches to the seat back and will travel up and down with the seat rather than fold up)

4) blacked out exhaust tip (don’t really won’t to paint it, but will if I have to

5) blacked out badge options for the grill and trunk lid beyond dip and sticker that leaves the silver edge (annoyed Kia decided not to include these in the blacking out from the factory in the nightfall edition)

6) looking for examples of front window/headlight/taillight tint

7) will be doing some paint correction and graphene coating as soon as it comes in

8) also looking through the forum to see if any of the lights come full from factory

Those are the for sure items I’m looking for now to get installed as soon as we take ownership so if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be fantastic!

Also always interested in performance help as my wife is going from a hemi (Dodge Charger) to the V6 of the Kia.

My Telly came with the Kia mud flaps. Sorry I don't have much for good pictures (especially of the rear) but see attached for how the fronts look. I have the weathertech front and middle floor mats and love them, cannot attest to 3rd row though as I will rarely use the row so did not opt for that part of the set. The fit is amazing and they are easy to clean. I have a ToughPro cargo mat, however that rolls up when 3rd row in use so I do not think you are quite looking for that (though with a small bit of cutting you could alter the mat so it attached to rearside of 2nd row and the remainder of mat sets in place in the cargo area, might work well for you). I know ToughPro also makes front, middle, and 3rd row mat options and they are the same design as my cargo mat, so from a theoretical standpoint I would think the quality would be great and they would probably be laser fit very nicely, it would come down to whether you like the honeycomb design. Not sure what you mean about 'full factory lights'. As far as performance I know some people have enjoyed the pedal commander and how it has helped a bit with performance (search the forums here for it and you will see their thoughts, it appears to still be available for purchase from the Telluride Store).

How do you like the Kia mud flaps? The Kia ones appear sleeker than the weather tech, but also not sure they stop as much debris from flinging all over the place? I really liked the color you purchased on the Telly’s but wife really wanted a white one.

I forgot to mention I’m also interested in internal organizers as this vehicle will primarily be the wife’s daily and serve as the family truckster for most trips. I’m very picky with my vehicles and like to keep them looking good/sleek as long as possible. Not really needing a cargo next peesha but I’ve seen a few storage totes etc. would also not mind some lockable storage if it exists.

My job regularly takes me and my Telly into sand and gravel pits when dry and dusty and also when complete mud holes, so I collect a lot of gunk on the car regularly. As you can see from the previously shared close-up photo of the front mud guards the fine rock dust really gets into the black plastic along the bottom of the car sides and the guards are not as effective as I would hope for keeping debris cleared off the plastic cladding. The same issue prevails with the rear mud guards and plastic trim. I am debating looking for something to replace the Kia guards for that reason, but I would otherwise be perfectly happy with them for all other purposes like on road use and the occasional back road drive. They worked well keeping snow/slush off the car last winter, it's really just the mud that I have problems with and to be fair that will probably be the case with any car and any mud guard, so I just need to learn to deal and detail better 🤷‍♂️

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Telluride! What will the Telluride be replacing for you? I'm glad you found us. :)

We are replacing a Dodge Charger R/T. We felt it would be safer for her and the babies to get an AWD vehicle. Nothing like living in the farmlands of wisconsin in the winter time. Lol
