• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Did anyone know if the winshield have a defroster built in it for the front wiper. In the owner manual there is no reference of it.

I don't think so. It would be advertised somewhere.

I check with a thermal camera and i can confirm that there is no defroster on the front windshield.
It's a big problem because where i live I have snow 6 months per year...major downside !!! I have one on my 2011 sorento so i really don't understand the choice kia made.

I'm just getting angry about this now as we're getting snow and -22 weather. I see it's on older models of Kia's but not on this... seems like a dumb move when the wipers are impossible to lift up to clean. Anyone know of third party de-icer pads? Would that void warranty?

There are these: (not personally used - just found them with search for front windshield de-icer)

Last two are designed for large vehicles and come with some cautions...

As with any add on - to affect warranty, the add on has to be proved to be the cause of the failure for coverage to be denied.

FWIW
