If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Good morning! I've been searching and searching for a Telluride that is not being sold above MSRP. I have found a dealership that will let me order one at MSRP, but I'm afraid that 12 week will turn into much longer.... any tips out there?

Welcome. Moving this into the "How to Buy a Kia Telluride" section.

What dealership are you trying to order it from? I would ask the dealer what their monthly allocations of tellurides is and where on the list would your order would fall. I ordered mine on the 15th from Kia Peak North in the Denver area. I ordered from them as I was at the top of their list for an EX with a bench seat (non premium) and they get 30 tellurides a month. The salesman figure I would get picked up on the next month's order. He quoted me 3-4 months from order date. I25 kia quoted me 3-5 months and I believe they get 60 tellurides a month (I read that somewhere on this forum). Virtually identical prices so I went with the dealer that quoted a shorter time frame and told me where I was at on their list.

Several Telluride buyers have ordered from more than one dealer, and stuck with the dealer the order arrives earliest. If your deposit is fully refundable, you lose out on nothing and the dealer you cancel your order with can easily sell the car at a markup to the next buyer. Win-win.

If you want to speed up the process check out this thread for details on how to buy a Telluride already produced and in transit to a dealer. There has been success buying one this way without markup.
