• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So I just got my windshield replaced on my 2022 Kia Telluride EX, but the tech said they couldn’t calibrate it because the OBD port wasn’t working. I verified it was in fact “dead”, and began looking for info regarding which fuse the OBD port is connected to, hoping it was just a blown fuse. To my astonishment, not only does the owner’s manual not provide this info, neither the phrase “OBD” nor “On-Board Diagnostics” (with or without the hyphen) is mentioned a single time in the entire owner’s manual.

So with that being said, does anyone know which fuse the OBD port uses in a 2022 Telluride? I would very much like to avoid a multi-hour ordeal with a Kia dealership.

How did you verify it was not working? Was the car on but not started? Or was the car off?

Just my $0.02. Pop the covers of both of the fuse boxes and see if you can see a blown fuse. ODB tend to be lower amperages.....

When I arrived, the Safelite tech connected his OBD scanner with the vehicle turned on and running: nothing.

Just to confirm it wasn’t a bad scanner, I connected my OBD scanner with the vehicle on/running, on/not running, and off completely: also nothing.

Thanks, this is what I ended up doing (err, well, starting to do). If it does end up being a blown fuse, I’ll let y’all know which fuse it is when I confirm. In the meantime, if anyone sees this and already knows which fuse it is, please chime in and I’ll officially acknowledge you as a better “know-it-all” than myself (Kinda like being faster than the slow kid…not worth much, but it‘s something…) 😬

Did you ever find out where the fuse was? I’m having the same issue.

Was this ever resolved, I checked all fuses on mines and they were good
