• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hey everyone, I am new to the forum and just recently bought a Telluride S AWD last month. I love the vehicle and am looking forward future camping/off roading with the family. Looking into putting new wheels and tires on when it comes time, but am looking for more an off road setup with probably 17” wheels and 265/65/17 tires.

anyone have any suggestions? Also, any good/bad experiences off roading in the telluride?

Here's a link to a telluride with 2 inch lift and tire size your after. For reference
Thank you!

Here's 265/60r18 Falken Wildpeak AT3's. No lift.

Any rubbing? Any spacers or nah?
No spacers. No rubbing. I don't know if it might up top on a serious suspension squish though -- the tires tucking in would depend on the travel arc. Hasn't happened yet so I'm just not sure.

What are the wheel/tire models/sizes?
Black rhino rims. BF Goodrich KO2 tires 265/65R17

What are you all doing about the spare tire? The standard spare can’t work with enlarged tires (or lifts)? Are there aftermarket parts to mount a full-size spare in the back?

Here are two I've seen mentioned in this forum:

1. Rigid Armor:

or

2. RIGd UltraSwing:

FWIW, @Alonzo_Tigerhart wins my vote for the best DIY Overland package. (Shock springs on Non-Tow VS Tow Package)

I've also seen a full sized (close to OEM) spare tire can fit under where the donut is now for the US Telluride. I think a full size spare comes with the Canadian Tellurides. That doesn't help folks with lifts and larger off-road tires.
