  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... First of all, dealers here in Houston were asking about $10k above MSRP and a 6 to 8 month wait. Before buying I watched most all the youtubes. Watched this really cool black lady from Atlanta tell me to GET OUT OF TOWN! And sure enough, called 100 miles outside Houston and got MSRP first call, Ft Bend Kia. Ordered with the website BUILD and sent it to the Dealer. Exactly what I wanted, full load SX paid $48,200, with a 6 month wait but it was cool because it arrived on my birthday. I only have 7k on it and its white in and out. Boy the black wheels make it look super cool. Took it to Carmax just the other day, they offered $58,000 and really really wanted it. Used to be we lost $10k out of the lot.
What with the great trade in value, even next Summer, I have my eye on a EV9. Sell this SX to Carmax and maybe it will be free!
Lesson I learned trading in my Explorer for this SX. CARMAX! Gave me $7k more than any dealer I went to. Subtract the $3k tax and that saved $4k.

Who wants to go for a ride in the Telluride??

Nice! Had been hearing of the used price of these having dropped a bit recently. Sounds like that's not in your area. Even so, I don't know that I'd count on resale staying high. Have a feeing things will change in next 6 months or so.
