Order for a future date?

Do you know of the dealership will allow you to out down a deposit and specify a date in the future for delivery?

For example, we believe we will want to have a vehicle delivered in spring 2023, but would like to put a deposit in and order it soon (late spring/summer 2022).

Do they do that?

Once you order, it takes as long (or short) as it takes and you take possession when it comes into the dealership. Otherwise, they will be more than happy to sell it to another person on the waitlist... With supply chain issues and the popularity of certain models, you can't really time it. Plan as of right now based on a 10-14 month delivery.
