• THIS SECTION IS ONLY FOR DISCUSSIONS RELATING TO BUYING A TELLURIDE. PLEASE USE A DIFFERENT SECTION FOR POSTING MESSAGES ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN BUYING A TELLURIDE. THANK YOU!

  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Order from Hell...

Maybe the driver had been drinking port?

Given the lead time for these cars, one thing you could do is try to get this car at a discount, and take delivery of it. In the meantime place an order with another reputable dealer. Drive the previously damaged one for the time being, then when the new one arrives, you can sell the current one - probably for a small profit. Many variables in this situation but something to consider.

Don't walk, run away. I would not take a damaged/repaired vehicle, discount or not. Sounds like you got hosed, plain and simple. Put an order in at another dealership and chalk the experience up to bad luck.

A car getting damaged before delivery is nothing new. I know Lexus owners that had their LS models have their bumpers replaced. As long is there is no structural damage what difference does it make if they replaced the bumper cover and a few clips. It won’t be on its history as mentioned already.

If you don’t take it I’m sure someone happily will.
