• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... My wife received a call yesterday from the dealer saying that my order (2022 SX AWD N/T/P Wolf Gray/Dune Brown) was finally picked-up. I placed the order on 4/25/22 (just missed the KFOS open window for April). The salesman indicated an ETA of 9/25/22. My question to the forum is: Do you think it is safe to assume I'll be getting a 2022 model year? Also, does anyone know approximately how long it will take for the vehicle to show on Failcat? If any of this is credible information, this will make it 5 mos. from order to delivery.

Never assume anything. But, as I haven't heard anyone say the '23s are even out yet, more than likely it'll be a '22.

I think appearing on Failcat happens pretty quickly, but then it'll be a couple of months before actual delivery.

Thanks for the input, @SloopJohn.

For what it's worth, I was able to pick up my car within basically one month of it showing up on failcat. So really, times will vary depending on multiple factors. I live in Maryland so delivery from Georgia where they're built will be faster than getting one in California for example.

Either way, I personally wouldn't expect multiple months after Failcat, I'd say one month is likely, two months at the most

Thank you, @jodo. I'm in Southeast Virginia, so hoping that's the case for me, as well. #patiencegrasshopper

100% will be a '22
