Order Re-Entered Wrong by Dealer

When switching to a 2022 order my dealer claims they could not choose my desired cargo tray (CT), side steps (SS), and cross bars (CB) PIO options for my SX AWD w/ Tow. So, they just put the order in with carpeted floor mats (which I do not want). They are claiming they cannot revise the order since it is already in the Kdealer system and if they do I will be bumped down from #3 to #48 on the wait list. They said they can order the cargo tray (CT), side steps (SS), and cross bars (CB) separately but it will be more because it is through the parts department. And they cannot remove the carpeted floor mats because it is built into the car price and they cannot resell them. Can someone please enlighten me on whether or not you can revise an existing order without moving down to the bottom of the wait list. Also, is it true the items are more expensive from the dealer parts department? Is it not possible to remove the carpeted floor mats from the order or resell them? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

So for the very first batch of 2021's that crossed over to 2022's had this situation.. sounds like you are part of that initial crossover.. most port installed options were not available to enter with order.

They are correct once order is accepted that you can not edit PIO's to order..
They should be able to help with matching price on the Cargo Tray and Cross Bars as you are not paying for labor to install those(Cross bars are easy to do with 2 people).

The side steps will cost more as they will need 1.5-2 hours labor time to install.

You can resell the floor mats just don't have them open them or see if they will use as credit towards Side Step labor.

That would be how I would proceed in your situation
