  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... We reached out to a local Kia dealer(Huffines Kia The Colony, TX) two months ago about ordering a new Telluride because we had certain specific needs and haven't been able to find a Telluride in our area that meets my wife's specs. Basically a green EX, grey leather, with bench seat in 2nd row, but not much else added on. We were told at that time that all new Tellurides were being badged 2021 and that do to a backlog they weren't accepting orders. Our rep there said he would contact us when they start accepting new orders so we could place ours. We hadn't heard anything since despite emailing and calling him and also reaching out to other area dealers. Anyone on hear have any success ordering a new Telluride in past two months? If not, has anyone heard when Kia will start taking new special orders? Thanks in advance!

we ordered ours thru Kia of Muncie(Indiana), they honor Costco pricing which is about $1K off MSRP and the only dealer fee is $199. You might want to reach out to them, they are a big supporter of this site, and can ship anywhere. We deal with Lucas Boehm, great guy, GREAT communication and honest. Good luck

Which Telluride configuration is the easiest to purchase right now (shortest wait)?

Is it the black SX Prestige Nightfall AWD with black interior?

I'm looking for the tow package, is that hard to find?

anything with prestige is going to be awhile unless you want to pay thousands above MSRP

Thank you for the information!

So the SX NE without prestige would be the fastest to order? That might work out better for me a I don't have a strong preference for the prestige or not.

Just curious, what is the reason for the delay for prestige? Is there a parts/material shortage?

Do you need bench seat or captain seats? If you need bench seat than your can’t order Night Editions as it only comes in Captain Chairs.

have you looked on Failcat? It will show you what dealers all over the country have coming in, you can then call those dealers and ask if they are already sold, if not, you can ask what they sell them for, and be advised SOME dealers will say"MSRP", however the add ons and doc fees can add thousands. Just ask what their fees are that are added to MSRP, then you'll know if it's a price you are willing to pay
