Outside mirrors

What’s up guys. I was wondering can this be done. I have the ex model. Is it possible to make the outside mirrors tilt on reverse?

I’m not completely sure but your EX would at least need to be a Premium for this to happen.

According to Kia, power tilt down mirror is a SX only feature. Power folding mirrors are available from EX.

IN!! The lack of mirror tilt down on reverse is a safety issue in my book. My 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee had it!! I'm up for doing whatever I can to add this feature to my EX PRE. Anyone know of a hack or a module kit to add the tilt feature to an EX? The auto fold mirrors are definitely capable of the tilt function.

I am absolutely keeping an eye on this thread. Someone chime in and help us figure on how to add this feature. I think every trim level should have it.

My best guess is that it’s related to the lack of the integrated memory system (to save seat/mirror positions) on the EX. But who knows for sure. Regardless of the actual reason, I’m afraid the likelihood that you’ll have the ability to retrofit the functionality is slim at best.

I'm working with Shark Racing. which sells a range of add-in option modules specifically for Kia & Hyundai. I installed their proximity lock module, which works perfectly.
There is a slight complication in that the Telluride is not sold in Korea, but we should be able to work around that. Will keep this thread posted on progress.
