• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... About to pull the trigger on Telluride LX model. I cannot find the overall width including both mirrors - need to see if it will fit in the garage!
I understand the LX model only has manual folding mirrors. So can anyone tell me the total overall width with (a) in normal position, and (b) when folded.
Would look rather foolish it it didn't fit, even with both mirrors folded.
I'd appreciate any help.

It will fit.

Need the actual measurements. Not all garage widths are the same size!!

If a Miata can fit then the Telluride can fit. It’s not a big suv. I also drive a F350 dually with an 8’ lift which would merit your question but whether or not a Telluride fits in a garage is nonsense.

I appreciate your opinions, but maybe someone else can provide the measurements I requested.

Thank you blh45. I presume this is with the mirrors fully extended. My access width is 90" - hence not too much room, but with them folded somewhat easier!

Yes Roger, with the mirrors fully extended. Very tight indeed!

Again, blh45 - thank you, much appreciated.
So pretty much any car offered on the market. Garages have a per code minimum width. A Telluride will fit in the very garage known to mankind. I will beat you cannot find a normal-residential garage in the United States that cannot fit a Telluride.

You have seen every garage in the US?

See attached, may give you some idea. Per Kia specs, width is 73’ if I remember correctly. Not sure if spec width is with mirrors extended or not. Add say 6 inches or so for mirrors extended.

If dealer is close by, you can always request salesman to test drive to your home/garage and check if it really fits.

If it doesn’t fit in your garage, tear it down and build a bigger one.. it’ll be worth it :p
And if you rent and can’t tear it down... move

Codes only apply to new or recently built structures, going back maybe to the 60’s and 70’s. What if the OP’s home is much older and thus the garage smaller?

If a garage was built were the T-wagon could not fit then it would not be considered a garage - it would be called a “closet”.

It's just under 7 feet wide including the mirrors. Our garage is 8' wide and it's a bit of a tight fit.

I appreciate your opinions, but maybe someone else can provide the measurements I requested.
This guy are you kidding me? I'm standing in my garage doing the exact same thing. Not all garages are created equal on this planet anyway. I own a 2021 lx with power mirrors. The wife has it at work and I'm cleaning g out the garage to make room as we speak. They say its 197 inches long and like 78 wide but doesnt say if that I cludes Morris so I'm with ya pal. Anyone e have actual measurements? Its gonna be tight in mi e.
