• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So....after two months of ownership, I have finally decided to put the manual back in the car! Yup....for two months I have kept it by my comfy nighttime chair and usually each night I have found some question or issue to open up the manual and do a read....sometimes just to help answer questions here on the forum! But after two months, I THINK I know all that I need/want to know......and yes, the manual has been very helpful! It does go into"overtime" on all of the safety oreiented stuff, but info on what you REALLY need to know on the how and why things work is there. Yes, there are some "errors" ...like where the spare tire is....but reading the manual is definitely a plus if you really want to know "all" about this or any vehicle.

Many many rabbit ears in my manual!

Any suggestions or things that stood out for you regarding maintenance and care of the car?

No, not really.....pretty much the "standard" stuff that all manufacturers put out there these days. There is one kind of "blunt" error in the manual.....it indicates the temporary spare is "located near the sliding door" of the vehicle  ..obviously must be referring to the KIA van. The only other thing I think all should know is that the warranty , while best in it's class for the powertrain ( 10/100) is only "normal" when is comes to the "infotainment electronics"......... 3/36!

They definitely copy and pasted the parts of the manual from other cars, particularly for the features booklet. It said when going through a car wash, to flip the switch in the glove compartment to disable the powered rear lift gate. Trolled me for a good 2-3 minutes looking for said button in my car. 🤦‍♂️
