• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Finished my caliper paint today! If you’re going to paint your calipers, I highly recommend the G2 Caliper Paint system. I got it from Amazon for around $55. It’s a paint with a reactor that you pour in that makes the paint harden on the calipers. Easy to apply, they give you plenty of paint, and it looks good. You don’t need to take take calipers off, they give you a small paint brush that makes it pretty simple to maneuver around. I like this paint vs spray because you don’t really need to mask anything off, as long as you’re careful and take your time.

Looks good. 👍 Post some pics of how they look with wheels back on too for the final result.

I was thinking about painting my calipers black to go with the Nightfall look.

Love the Telluride name down the side too!
Thanks. Some people like it and some don't. I just wanted to be a little different then everyone else.

My only thought is that the calipers would disappear with you having black wheels, but if that’s what you’re going for, I say do it!! Pretty simple to do, and inexpensive.

Let's make this the painted caliper crew!!

I have the SXP in Gravity Gray and we have jet ski's that match (gray and orange) completely by coincidence. I have been wanting to paint the calipers the DRL orange since I got the car. I have had the caliper covers previously (different car) and although I liked the look, I like the calipers painted better. What color and paint did you use, it looks damn good!tempImageb5rWTo.webp

Painted and added lettering...looks like it is peeling but it isn't. Just a raised portion of the caliper.

I am lazy I have done the paint but I am waiting for covers this time. Looks good, you can search caliper decals you can create to give it even more of a different look.

I don’t have my Telly yet but I plan to paint the calipers dual color, similar to my current car.

I used the paint by brush method and was very easy with a couple of coats. Comes with cleaner and since I have only a few K on they were not that dirty. I am glad I didn't spend the 300 on MGs since the rims cover so much of the calipers. I will say if I get new Rims I might just check out painted calipers from the big guys Brembo or Wilwood because they are only a little more than the MG covers.

I finally got around to painting my calipers black to go with my Nightfall. It was fairly easy, but time consuming. Overall I am happy with how it turned out. While I was at it, and had some left over paint, I took care of another item that was annoying me. On the black on black of the Nightfall they still use chrome exhaust tips. Well, I painted them gloss black. So far they have held up and I think they look good.
