Phone Mount Options?

My iphone 7 doesn't really fit in the spot about the USB console connections. You can lay it down but it's too long.

I've seen phone cup holders and vent holders but not sure what's best. Ideally I'd like to use that small hole that's in front of the 2 cup holders on the console. Not sure what its really for except putting keys or using it for money. Any recommendations? thanks

I went with a cup holder option as I prefer not to have them attached to vents or suction cupped to the dash or window. I’ve really liked it so far and haven’t had any issues. The link and a pic:

I found that secure bicycle phone mounts work well on the grab handles. I have the female adapter on my Galaxy 10 Otterbox case. Also I have a suction cup holder for the display on upper dash, I have it on far right for when riding shotgun.

IPhone XS and a vent clip. Works great. Don’t have to look down (much).
