• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Plywood Sheets

🤖 AI Summary

Also a notable bit of info if true:

“Kia's Telluride rides on a tight-and-tidy Sonata unibody chassis, like its platform twin the Hyundai Palisade.”

I measured the interior of a Telluride with both rows of seats down, and it measures 84” to the back of the front seats. Width at narrowest was 44”, but if you move to the top of the interior wheel wells it’s 48”.

so if you loaded plywood diagonally it would fit , the width of the hatch would be narrower

I've heard this for the 2020 Explorer, but never for the Telluride. Is it true or is the author just mixed up:

"All the back seats fold flat to open up enough space for a big stack of 4x8 sheets of plywood, the metric of practicality now among large vehicles. "

2020 Kia Telluride first drive: Open wide for the Telluride
FYI a full sheet won't fit in an Expedition lengthwise unless the front seats are moved all the way up. Clever marketing.

Specifically stated with the seats folded flat but the space between the wheel wells is sufficient unlike most competitors. This is the 2020 Explorer, not the Expedition.

It’s slightly larger than anything else in midsized 3 rows and it’s wheelbase is around 5” longer too at 119”.

Much more expensive than it’s competitors and likely not worth it for it’s small advantages elsewhere other than the powerful drivetrains (great for cop cars but not too relevant for family haulers).
