• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I posed this question in another thread, based on a comment that 2022 Tellurides will continue to be built until September, but there has been no reply:

When did Kia start building 2022 Tellurides? July 2021? June 2021? Earlier?

Sometimes, when a brand-new model is being introduced, or even just a midcycle refresh, the incoming model will displace the previous one earlier than usual. This takes advantage of newness as a selling point, and results in a "stretched" model year for the new version.

Here, it seems the opposite process is occurring. The outgoing 2022 model year is being stretched, and could end up being 16 months long, or more.
So, the old-fashioned empirical approach is called for. If you have a 2022 model year Telluride, please post the build date here. (You can find your build date on the little information panel on the driver's door jamb.) Hopefully, we'll learn what the earliest MY2022 build date was, or close to it, and eventually we'll see what the final MY2022 build dates are. Thanks.

My build date is not illuminating either way, but it was May 4, 2022.

Failcat would be a pretty good indicator but, when I clicked on "all cars", I received an error. I let the team know about it.

Failcat is fixed. I looks like they started building 22's in June of 21. The last 21 was end of May. There is a 2 week gap between the dates which is what is advertised to re-tool the factory.
