• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So does our navigation with the live updates run on the service that we pay for through Kia with a yearly subscription or is that through XM ?

Thanks 🤙

Live traffic updates use HD radio signals, which are free. Pre-loaded maps do not require internet to be used for route guidance, which is free.

The one thing that UVO subscription will help with is using internet based search to find points of interest using broader search terms, or if you don’t enter in an address accurately it will make a guess for you. But if you know how to enter in a complete street address, should be fine. For POI’s you would be limited to what is pre-loaded on the maps.

TLDR: You don’t need a paid UVO subscription to use navigation.
