• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Racking up the miles!

Simple rule for converting to F from C: multiply the C x 2 and then add 30.

example: 10C -> 10x2 + 30 = ~50F (the actual calculation is x 1.8 +32 so 10*1.8 + 32 = 50). So in this case the estimate gets you right answer. Sorry, I love math...
Thanks Einstein. I’d rather walk outside and say, “damn, it’s cold out here.”

outdated, blahaha......outdated only on our land. Rest of the world uses metric system. "only three of the world's countries don't use the metric system: the United States, Myanmar and Liberia"
We use the metric system here in the States.

More specifically, pharmacists and non-licensed underground distribution networks of pharmaceutical-grade products love the metric system.

The firearms industry sometimes measures various components in metric, e.g. Hornady’s new “6mm ARC”, 9mm, etc.

Didn’t the European/American space programs crash two projects worth several billion into Mars because of a failure to convert metric/imperial units? Priceless 😂

This march it will be 2 years and I currently have 123,800 miles and some change!
That’s amazing. Have you encountered any issues aside from normal maintenance? Any out of pocket expenses, not including tires, brakes, oil changes, etc? Just curious because this SUV has only been around two years and you obviously have put it to work.

This will be such a small sample size that anything that did come up will be completely random. I see where you’re going though

Agree, but still it would be interesting since he’s hit the major milestones.

No major mechanical issues so far, just been a joy to drive. Replaced plugs @ 100K and had to replace valve pan gaskets which were leaking, expected I would think after 100K. No other issues.
Wow. That’s great to hear!! Thanks for sharing
