  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Has anyone had any experience with the time frame from when the car arrived at the railroad station to when it gets trucked to the dealership? I'm currently in limbo with my Telluride. The car arrived at the railroad 10/17 and has been sitting there ever since. I'm being told from the dealership that they are at the mercy of the trucking company. However, the dealership did also tell me that there were 6 Tellurides on in the same rail shipment as mine. 4 out of the 6 have been delivered to the dealership but not mine.

I had a similar experience and it does seem that dealers have no way of tracking it once it's loaded onto the 3rd party car carriers. Sounds like the truck was full and you're waiting on the next available spot on a truck that's headed in that direction.
