• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Is there a way to alter the Stop/Go (ISG) switch so the ISG stays off all the time without having to push the button to disengage it each time?

The quick semi-permanent solution others have done is to wedge/shim a dime or credit card into the side of the button to keep it permanently depressed.

The cleaner looking alternative way to disable this function is to install an aftermarket module.

Edit:

@Kevyn was able to detail how he got the ISG module to work below.

Thanks very much for the response and the link. Don't know if I want to be the first "brave sole" to take a chance with the aftermarket module. Maybe after awhile my "muscle memory" in the finger that disables it each time I turn on the motor will take over and disengage it without thinking about it.
