• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Good afternoon all. I had an issue with my 2022 Telluride S and just got back from the dealership. I have the EPB, auto hold and brake light on and flashing. Below is what the service tech found. Am I correct that I need a new left rear brake motor? If so, does anyone have any suggestions where to buy one, other than on the Kia parts sites?
Thanks in advance,
Kevin

I believe you need a new rear left brake caliper. It's a motor-on-caliper design. At least for the OEM; I'm not sure the two can be separated.

Likely there's significant pad thickness left/right also? Rotor damage if you've been trying to drive it?

Yes they can be separated. Just changed rear brakes on my 2020 and the only way without a scan tool is to removed the EPB motor(2 5mm hex bolts) and then wind the piston back with 5mm hex where the EPB splines into the caliper.

I've been searching with no suck luck but can you buy just the motor?
