Just recently completed my first road trip in 2020 SX after a year of not being able to take one, thanks to COVID. Had some rain on the way home, turned on rear wiper and only got scrapes on the rear windshield at the top of the blade's arc. When I got home several hundred miles later, discovered the entire wiper blade missing, and it looks like the piece snapped off where the blade body locks into the arm. I live in the SoCal desert, so have used this wiper minimally since buying the car in June 2020--as in, maybe twice.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
I hope I can get it replaced under warranty, but I hate my (only) local KIA dealership for justifiable reasons I won't go into here. I don't wish to relive past horrors LOL and don't want to go to them for any warranty repairs/replacements.
I welcome your input and advice.
