If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Anyone have any recommendations based on their experience for a good Kia dealer in the NY/NJ/CT area to purchase a SX-P without the mark up. I've seen some folks from NJ order from out of state, I may have to order but I’m ok playing the waiting game until one comes available but would like to see which are the best dealers (if there are any) to keep an eye on their inventory.

Thank you in advance!

I really thought the Telluride was going to be my next vehicle but dont look on Long Island the dealerships are all below standard at best. Hard to imagine with six of them here one had to be decent but they all seem to be cut from the same cloth and have the mentality of when they were back in the day and sold shit box vehicles and the people that came to them were credit challenged and destitute for transportation. Times have changed along with their quality but their culture has not. Kia and Hyundai are permantly off my shopping list. They could make the best car in the world and I would choose to walk first before buying it.

I do want to commend the dealers on this site who do a tremendous job of helping people get a vehicle at a fair price. I wish your culture was the rule and not the exception when dealing with the brand. I did contemplate getting it out of state but I would still be saddled with the same shitty dealerships after my purchase and I am sure I would be treated like dirt bringing in a car for service that was not purchased from the dealership.

I wish you luck in your journey because it is going to take some effort.
