• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I wasn’t able to find anywhere in the user manual that I have to lock the car with key knob to use remote start function.
Most of the time I use the button on the door handle to lock the car without taking the key knob out from the pocket. However, I have to unlock and lock the car first before using remote start. Otherwise, it won’t work.
I asked dealership and they said it’s normal and designed that way. What I don’t understand is why there are no mention in the users manual.
Am I the only one who took months to figure out when it works and when it’s not?

if you read your manual you would have found this. Page 4-10. I also had a good salesman that went over everything with me.

Thank you for the answer. I wish my dealer was knowledgeable like yours…
He agreed it is weird that it is not mentioned in the users manual… which turned out to be not true…
Great car, but not so great experience with the services for me.
