• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I thought that the engine was supposed to run for 10min once started via UVO, but I’ve noticed it shutting off while getting my toddlers buckled in (far within the 10min timeframe). Does anyone know if it has something to do with the back doors being open? Just trying to figure it out.

Amander -- Did you ever get an answer to this question? It has happened to me twice since yesterday morning. Very strange.

I think it's because you opened the rear door, safety feature.

@amander i know exactly the problem you speak of. I find that this specifically happens when both rear passenger doors are open before the driver’s door is open. Then when I open the drivers door, the remote start will shut off before the 10 minute timer. Maybe we need to open the drivers door first?

I’ve also found though that if you open the rear door before opening the drivers door while remote start is running, the rear climate control turns on by itself, which is a nice shortcut to doing it manually. But it doesn’t happen 100% of the time. And yes, I know that if you shut off the car and turn it back on in a short period of time, the rear climate controls will revert to what it was last set. I’m talking about first start of the morning.
